I’m Thomas (he/him), a Licensed Professional Counselor with master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Sport & Human Performance. I am passionate about exploring the intersections of identity, relationships, mental health, and performance, creating space for clients to feel understood and explore their experiences with curiosity and authenticity.
I work with athletes, creatives, performers, professionals, couples, and individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, identity development, life transitions, religious trauma, and relationship concerns. I am particularly interested in supporting people whose lives are shaped by sport or performance, creativity, cultural expectations, and nontraditional relationship structures, including polyamory and ethical non-monogamy.
My approach is grounded in narrative and existential therapy, integrating person-centered care, CBT, mindfulness, Adlerian theories, and expressive arts when appropriate. I view people as the authors of their own lives and see therapy as a collaborative process of exploring personal stories, reconnecting with individual values, and creating possibilities for meaningful change.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy art, animals, philosophy, movies, music, and sports, but particularly basketball. Whether I’m exploring a new artist, debating the meaning behind a film, or talking hoops, I appreciate the ways culture and creativity reflect the human experience.
