Therapist
Nouchee Thao, MS, LPC (she/hers)
I’m Nouchee Thao (she/her), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). As a child of immigrant refugee parents, I understand how powerful community and belonging can be. This shapes my passion for supporting marginalized communities to build connection, insight, and empowerment in their lives. My approach is grounded in person-centered care where I value collaboration. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to help individuals connect with their sense of power. I also recognize that expression doesn’t always come through words, and I enjoy incorporating art as a safe, cathartic way to process and explore experiences that may be difficult to say out loud. I work with individuals navigating identity, cultural experiences, and intergenerational or race-based trauma. I especially enjoy working with immigrants, children of immigrants, neurodiverse individuals, and LGBTQ+ communities.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
